We are currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist who can deliver first-class service and go above and beyond to meet our customers' needs while processing imports and export shipments. Location: Belfast Hours: 9 am-6 pm

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through telephone and electronic communication.
  • Contribute to the retention of existing business and proactively identify opportunities for growth.
  • Encourage customers to utilize Schenker e-solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Respond efficiently to customer issues and complaints, striving for swift resolution.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and identify opportunities to increase gross profit levels.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, investigate and solve problems, escalating when necessary.
  • Support the implementation process and set up customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify departmental and business efficiencies.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery of quotations to customers.

About You

To be successful in this role you will.

  • Demonstrate a track record of providing consistently excellent customer service.
  • Ideally have experience in transport logistics and/or import/export
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations.
  • Have superb attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Be passionate about delivering service excellence and a commitment to meeting customer needs promptly.
